Ecstatic Melbourne throng Montero are coming to Canberra to launch their new single Passions at Terrace Bar on Friday, June 21. Montero is quite the supergroup, led by comic book/video artist, songwriter and frontman extraordinaire Ben Montero with long time collaborator Gerald Wells on synths, Geoffrey O ‘Connor on guitar, Guy Blackman on piano, local producer Robert Bravington on bass and Cameron Potts (Ninety Nine, Baseball, Brighter Later) on the drumkit. An epic devotional, Passions is lifted from Montero’s forthcoming debut LP The Loving Gaze, due August 16 on Mistletone / Inertia.
