Panel of Judges launch their new album Moods On The Move @ Goodgod Small Club (as part of the Siberia series) on Thursday 14 July with special guests Circle Pit (single launch) + Marf Loth, plus a collaborative performance from SAM (Bum Creek), CHRIS PETRO and DS (Siberia). Tickets $10 at the door.

This will be the last Panel show for 2011 at least, so don’t miss it!

Due to popular demand, Flying Nun proto-punk-pop legends The Clean have announced an extra show at The Corner on
Sunday, 13 March. 

Formed in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1978, The Clean are touring in their classic lineup of brothers Hamish and David Kilgour plus bassist Robert Scott (also of The
Bats). The extra show features special guests San Francisco garage-pop revellers Sonny &
the Sunsets plus beloved hometown lo-fi crooners, Panel of Judges.

Back in 1978, The Clean were the seeds of New Zealand punk and the reason for the founding of the mighty Flying Nun label. Their influence resonated around the world with followers such as Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth and Pavement, and can be heard loud and clear in the new generation of indie bands who have the Dunedin godfathers deeply etched into their DNA. A truly magical band who are as vital as ever, The Clean are finally bringing their perfect pop and droney psychedelic guitar jams to Australia.

Mistletone’s long-lost seasonal parties make a comeback with Sunny Tones at The Tote (Melbourne) on Saturday, 5 March.

Bid farewell to summer with a sun-spangled lineup headlined by San Francisco’s Sonny & the Sunsets on their first Australian tour. They’ll be joined by a bevy of fun-loving locals including psych-rock guitar heroines Beaches, golden fuzz-rock duo Super Wild Horses, dream-folk mysterians The Ancients, the debut performance by nu-romantic synth-dreamtime outfit Montero, the shambling suburban trash-poetics of Scott & Charlene’s Wedding and the washed-out teenage kicks of Woollen Kits, and (just announced!) the extra-cuddly Milk Teddy who will open proceedings with their heavenly jangle-pop jams.plus DJs Adam Christou and Jacqueline Dee between bands.
