Mistletone’s long-lost seasonal parties make a comeback with Sunny Tones at The Tote (Melbourne) on Saturday, 5 March.

Bid farewell to summer with a sun-spangled lineup featuring the glam-garage, future-doowop sounds of San Francisco’s Sonny & the Sunsets on their first Australian tour. They’ll be joined by a bevy of fun-loving locals including psych-rock guitar heroines Beaches, golden fuzz-rock duo Super Wild Horses, dream-folk mysterians The Ancients, the debut performance by nu-romantic synth-dreamtime outfit Montero, the shambling suburban trash-poetics of Scott & Charlene’s Wedding and the washed-out teenage kicks of Woollen Kits, and (just announced!) the extra-cuddly Milk Teddy who will open proceedings with their heavenly jangle-pop jams. Plus there will be non-stop inter-set james from DJs Adam Christou and Jacqueline Dee – and tasty tacos in the beer garden! Doors open 3pm.
